"I decided to get a personal trainer as i had gained about a stone since moving to London, and wanted to get in shape for my impending wedding.  I looked on the internet for personal trainers in south London and came across Bernadette's advert. I emailed Bernadette and she replied promptly with all the information i needed. When i met with Bernadette she took all of my measurements, talked through my lifestyle and eating habits, and recommended small changes that i could make, such as swapping sandwiches for salads at lunchtime. I started to see Bernadette for 1 hour a week, which i really enjoyed. The exercises were tough, but Bernadette encouraged me, and after an hour's session i always felt proud of myself! As the wedding got closer, i increased my sessions to two hours a week.  By the time of the wedding my shape had completely changed. I had lost a stone in weight and had a much tighter, toned body. Everybody commented how fit and healthy i looked, which motivated me to keep up with the regime. After i returned from my honeymoon, i got back in touch with Bernadette and arranged more sessions. I was so pleased with the results i didn't want to go back to old habits. After 10 extra sessions i decided i was confident enough to carry the exercise on myself. I now think nothing of taking myself off for a run, which i'd never done before in my life before the training sessions.  I've also learnt to make sensible food choices which are sustainable in my lifestyle".
